The terracotta armies marched all-round the town causing havoc wherever they went. Dogs barked, chickens flew about in their coops, cats climbed trees and even the ducks gave up and flew off. A pair of pants soon followed, and a large dog was last seen wearing them, as he ran off into the distance being chased by the pants owner. When all of a sudden, a large fierce green ghost appeared.

We have just finished reading the chapter to the grandchildren, about the crow wearing a shirt and the dog running off wearing its owners pants and laughed so much at the idea that we suggested to the grandchildren that they draw the scene. They both spent nearly an hour drawing, it was quite magical to watch them. Keep up the good work.

Michael is our grandson and at six is just about starting to read with a bit of help and he keeps reading the last chapter in the Adventures in America book where he gets the medal for being the bravest boy in America. We think the picture is of a genuine silver dollar, gold plated, so we bought one, had it gold plated and put in a presentation case from the President of America. During the day he won’t take it off and even sleeps with it under his pillow.

Alicia, our daughter, is football mad and when we read her the story about the FA cup final she was entranced and really believed that she scored the winning goal.

Our daughter Samantha has just read again, for the fifth time, the story about the baby gorilla Gori, escaping from the zoo and wonder if we could buy a soft toy Gori for her. She absolutely loved the escape story especially when Gori was reunited with her parents.
